Henry Poole Is Here

About

Henry Poole (Luke Wilson), has given up on life. After he abandons his fiancé, overbearing mother, and family business without explanation, Henry moves to a dilapidated house in the suburbs where he avoids the necessary repairs, claiming he won't live there long enough to need them. Henry's strange attitude and depressing outlook on life cause his neighbors to keep their distance until someone notices what appears to be an image of Jesus' face in a water stain on the side of Henry's house. Suddenly Henry's home becomes the focus of media speculation and a staging ground for religious fanatics who believe the stain to be a miracle from God. As Henry struggles to control his mounting anger at the true believers camped outside his home, he meets a single-mom who teaches him that life just might be worth living after all.
